Last season, he was a key player for the Hershey Bears, playing 67 games and scoring 20 points, including 5 goals and 15 assists. He was a top performer among the Bears' defensemen, ranking third in both points and shots.
Standing tall at 6-foot-4 and weighing 220 pounds, Iorio has the physical presence to make an impact. He's already played 30 NHL games for the Sharks and Washington Capitals, demonstrating his ability to compete at the highest level. And this is the part most fans might not know: he was part of the back-to-back Calder Cup-winning Hershey Bears teams in 2023 and 2024, showcasing his championship pedigree. With 63 points in 196 AHL regular-season games and seven points in 31 playoff games, he's a proven performer.
Before turning pro, Iorio honed his skills in the WHL with the Brandon Wheat Kings. Over four seasons, he accumulated 82 points in 191 games, including 21 goals and 61 assists. His standout performance in the 2021-22 season earned him a high draft pick.
